Your Real Marin Gal
Cathy has been a top producing agent since she began in 1995.
Over the years she has had the privilege of representing the best clients in Marin!
They know Cathy is there for them throughout the process and beyond. “You’re our family Realtor!” is something she has heard many times.
It makes everything worthwhile.
This year Cathy is blessed to give back to the profession that has given her so much. She will be serving as the President Elect of the Marin Association of Realtor and will serve as the President in 2021.
It’s been quite the journey.
When Cathy got her Real Estate license in 1995 she came to the profession from a background of Sales, Communication and Community Involvement.
Graduating from UOP with her BA in Communications, she (as one of the few women in the profession on the West Coast) worked with Procter and Gamble and Merck Sharpe and Dohme outpacing her contemporaries.
When she moved to Marin she set down roots and focused on being “home for the kids”. But Cathy isn’t the kind of person who can just sit around...
No… she became involved in the PTA rising to President of the Tam Valley PTA.
She also co-founded an organization the support children going through the court system, Parent’s Task Force.
She was a girl scout leader and ran the summer camp for Girl Scouts.
Cathy and her husband have been members of the Sausalito Yacht Club for many years. During that time she served as the Offshore Cruise Director and Auxiliary President.
You can find her often on the bay aboard their J-105 Hazardous Waste.
In 1995 Cathy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and since then she has be a fierce advocate for Breast Cancer Research and support. As part of the Susan G Komen 3 Day 60 Mile walk, she has raised over $130,000 toward that cause and walked 15 walks. She also served as a spokesperson for Komen with local media.
But above all else, Cathy is a family girl.
She loves her two daughters, two granddaughters and step granddaughter. Currently they are all far away, so vacation is usually spent traveling to see them wherever they are – Bolivia, Ecuador, Zimbabwe, Washington D.C. or Washington State.
But clients remark she is always available!
That’s a testament to that never say never attitude….and RMG!
